Launching area

The location of the launchsite has been altered. The new site is located southeast of S104(on the A6) and south of highway crossing 'Knooppunt Almere'(connection of the A27 to the A6) Latitude: 52°22'7.46"N Longitude: 5°17'45.60"O There are two possibilities to reach the site, from the A6 or from the A27. Route coming from the A6: Route coming from the A27: Route A6: -Take exit S104 on the A6. -Follow the 'Tussenring' in direction 'Almere Buiten'. -At the first crossing, turn off to the right 'Buitenhoutsdreef'. -At the first roundabout, turn off to the right 'Trekweg'. -Immediately at the first crossing, turn off to the right 'Eksterweg', follow that way. (You're driving parallel with the 'Tussenring', the entire route back, and cross over the highway you came from.) -At the T-crossing turn off to the right 'Kievitsweg'. -The launchsite is now on the left handside. Route A27: -At the A27 crossing with the N706, turn off to the N706. -Take the direction Almere Hout(Vogelweg). -At the second crossing, turn off to the 'Kievitsweg' on your right hand. -Follow this road for about 3Km. You will then arrive at point C of the launchsite. Launchlocations There are four possible launchlocations, A, B, C en D, marked at the map. It is possible to drive around the site, except the 'Paradijsvogelpad' is not accessible by car. The exact location can alter each time depending on wether conditions. Location A is within reach via a sandy road from the 'Kievietsweg'. Location B is within reach via the cycle-track 'Paradijsvogelpad'. Location C and D are within reach via the 'Kievietsweg'. At the Forum or on the Activities page is stated which location is used for that particular day. Park your car in such a way, next to the others, so you leave as much space as possible for the others and parking for them is also easy. Always follow the directions given by the DRRA board members.
